CompAmerica-brand customers:

system's Standard Limited One Year Warranty. You may also use it
to obtain over the phone Warranty repair... You should printout,
fill out and keep this document for the lifespan of your product, to
insure you are able to obtain service when you need it! Please note
that upon expiration of your warranty, you may obtain ongoing repair
service at prevailing rates for parts and labor thereafter.
All CompAmerica products carry at least this warranty. MIB Laptops
purchased under this program have the option (at extra charge) of
extending the term of warranty to 3 years, see below, requiring
purchase and payment for the optional 3 year warranty.

Note that all PROSTAR warranty and non-warranty hardware services
are provided solely by the manufacturer.
NO ONSITE PROGRAMS ARE AVAILABLE. Please contact us to obtain
a Return to Manufacturing Authorization
Number before shipping your Laptop to the factory for repairs, so as
to avoid return time as it will not be accepted
without one. Note that in general, this warranty covers only
defects in design and manufacture. See document for
details. All other damage due to customer excess wear and
tear, immersion or impact is deemed 'non-warranty service'
and is not covered by this plan. Non-Warranty Service is
provided solely by the manufacture on a time and materials
plus shipping cost basis. You will be given a orice estimate
for non-warranty repairs upon diagnosis of your laptop at the
ProStar Repair Center in Industry, California. If you elect not to
proceed with the estimated repair, a $99 non-warranty
repair diagnosis fee shall apply and must be paid prior to its
return. |

CompAmerica's On Site Service - PCs and Servers Only (Not
offered for Laptops)
CompAmerica's On Site Programs may be purchased with our PCs,
Industrial PCs, and Servers, but not Laptops. The program is subdivided into five
alternative forms of service and repair provision. You must
enroll in one or more of these programs for coverage to be in force
(check with your CompAmerica service liaison):
- Plan One: Four
Hour Response (for critical business requirements)
- Plan Two: Next
Business Day Response (for everyday owners of businesses and
personal users)
- Plan Three:
Emergency and Full Time Onsite Response (for mission critical
computer installations)
- Plan Four: Carry
In Service (to one of our 52 Nationwide Carry In Centers, or to
National Centers in Countries around the world)

- Plan Five:
Standard Ship-In / Mail-In Service (Depot oriented)
These programs extend
our Warranty parts replacement to include Door-to-Door coverage,
even in outlying areas. Remote and Extremely remote facilities have
time add-on options to allow us sufficient time to drive to your
facility. If you enrolled in one of the SSRP Plans at time of
purchase, for further information about the terms and conditions
covering your SSRP Plan, please refer to the SSRP Plan documents
provided you at time of purchase. You can also call us at

NOTE: General Information about Optional
LAPTOP Warranty Program -
CompAmerica Optional 3 Year Warranty documents for MIB and
Mobil-Star/Pro*star Laptops are usually automatically issued within
six months of their purchase and mailed you from our repair affiliate in
California who maintains and sells the actual warranty. Please contact CompAmerica if
you have not received yours within six months after receipt of your
product. Thank you! Our phone number is 908-931-1200.
Please supply proof of purchase. Kindly note that purchases
across the Internet from our website are limited to a single year
warranty only! No Optional 3 Year Warranty shall be engaged
without following the Optional 3 Year Warranty Program's Activation
Procedure. All out of warranty service (after the 1st year of
ownership) is supplied on a time and materials charge basis, or if
not pursued, may require a $99 diagnosis charge. CompAmerica's
Optional 3 Year Warranty is REGISTERED AT TIME OF PURCHASE with our
City of Industry, California affiliate who is the sole warranty
supplier for our laptops: ProStar Computer Inc. CompAmerica
warranty service requires proof of purchase and a copy of the
Optional 3 Year Extra Charge Warranty Certificate provided at time
of purchase. Final authority for warranty service resides in
the custodian of Laptop Warranty Repairs at ProStar Computer Inc.
and is it's sole liability by law.

Magnavox Extended 2 Year Additional Limited Warranty offered
exclusively on Mobil*Star Laptops (DISCONTINUED
effective: JANUARY 2006) -
Due to
the extraordinary and sophisticated nature of our
Mobil*Star Laptops, we no longer offer any Phillips
Magnavox Servicenet warranties on our laptops. If
you have a laptop sold prior to January 2006 and had
purchased such a warranty plan, please contact Phillips Magnavox Servicenet at
