With only a DigiMemo and pen, users can store hand written text, drawings and notes automatically in digital memory. The product, which is between 10 and 15.4 milimeters thick, was said in different models to price out between $149 and $299. Powered by four common AAA batteries - DigiMemo achieves about 120 hours of continuous use before replacement. When connected to a PC the DigiMemo can transfer it's memory of notes and drawings to individual eBook files on the PC's hard disk drive, for further use in editing or emailing. When connected (by USB) the DigiMemo is powered by the PC, saving the batteries.

It can be operated as a mobile unit in hand or can remain attached to a host PC. The DigiMemo weighs in at 1.21 pounds.

For purposes of facilitating transfer and management on your PC, downloadable software for Microsoft Windows enables further editing, combining, transfer, and storage. Memos transferred from the DigiMemo's memory directly to any Microsoft Windows PC may be added to existing works, transmitted to others by email or collaborative software, or included as figures in edited documents.

For even greater capacity, an optional CF Memory Card may be inserted into an available CF slot.
