first 17" Orca to incorporate the new Intel LGA-775 Package Pentium
4 Processor with Hyperthreading AND the new Intel PCI-Express
architecture, the king-sized Orca 9000 PCIx includes DDR2 PC2-400
Memory up to 2 gigabytes, with 64Bit bus and 800MHz FSB. The new
Mobil computing platform "standard" is said to have "more features
per square millimeter" than it's competition.
Included a new technology PCI-Express Nvidia 6800 Go Mobil Video
Adapter with 256MB of DDR2 Ram, the unit sports such features as
built-in Wifi Turbo-108 MBPS 802.11G/B video, 10/100/1000 Ethernet,
v.90/v.92 Fax Modem, integrated RAID 0/1, and an optional TV Tuner,
Subwoofer and 8 Channel Intel Azalia Audio. The system is certified
for use with Microsoft's new Media Control Edition of Windows XP as
well as GNU media versions of Linux.
